The custom ergonomic guitar project is coming along rather nicely. I have been working closely with Luthier Victor Marwin on the design and am very pleased with the results so far. This guitar is very similar to a Klein electric, but is being built to my own specs. As the project continues to advance, we will be posting some photos.

I have been busy in the studio working on a solo album. The tracking is coming together nicely, and anticipate a release this fall. It features the playing of some good friends. You can check out a few rough tracks on my myspace page.

My courses at Niagara Community College are keeping my students and myself pretty busy. If you are interested, registration for the fall 2009 semester has started. I will be teaching Guitar Ensemble I-IV, Rock Ensemble I-V, Electric Rock Guitar Styles, Guitar 1, Guitar 2, and will be directing several Independent Studies for the guitar majors. This semester has been very rewarding with the independent studies. We have been able to dig deep into the playing styles of Pat Metheny, Wes Montgomery, and Grant Green and my students and I have been doing some pretty heavy transcribing. Please check back soon for some lessons/transcriptions of the players.
